The ESV Study Bible - The New Gold Standard
Jun 7th, 2008 by Sam

I have been using the Reformation Study Bible as my personal devotional Bible since it came out in the ESV. Well, it looks like the ESV Study Bible might be preparing to take it’s place. You can read Phil Ryken’s review (who is not on the ESV Study Bible team).

My familiy is really looking forward to the release of this Study Bible. I can honestly say that I don’t ever remember my self or my wife being so excited about the release of any type of Study Bible before, ever. If find it really great that many of those that have worked on the ESV translation and the Study Bible and previous Study Bibles have made themselves so available to us all in their blogs, and in churches today.
I have pre-ordered two at amazon and am considering a 3rd for my son. I just bought my son his first ESV Thinline Bible and he is thrilled with it and shows it to everyone he can.
