The Death of a Preacher on Stage
Nov 30th, 2007 by admin

Dane Ortlund pointed me to a chapel message given By Wheaton College’s 4th president, Dr. V. Raymond Edmund. What’s notable about his message is that right after he gave it, a message entitled, “Being in the Presence of the King,” Dr. Edmund went to be in the presence of the King. Dr. Edmund died on stage as he concluded that message. If a preacher could pick one way to die, I think it would be to preach a message about that subject and to die after preaching it. You can listen the message here.
- Virtual M. Div. - Preaching
- On God’s Name in Vain
- Thank You GCTS
- WG06, Day 2
- The Cross and a Husband’s Love

Sam, not likely to happen to you at WellSpring; too many doctors and nurses in the crowd - you would get CPR’d.
That would give me nightmares….
