You are also supposed to have a designated meeting place in case of a disaster and people get separated. I guess God can jolt you spiritually and physically at the same time! But I'm thankful that these events serve as a LOUD REMINDER that my life is a vapor, possessions and life here on earth is fleeting, and that God has already foreordained all my days, even if there were to ever be another BIG ONE in the Bay area.
