D. James Kennedy With the Lord

JT has reported that D. James Kennedy went home today to be with his Savior. I remember learning about his Evangelism Explosion for a class at GCTS. His book showed the church that being Reformed and deeply caring for the lost was not an oxymoron. Along with J. I. Packer’s Evangelism and the Sovereignty of God, I can’t think of a more influential book on evangelism and a doctrines of grace perspective. I also remembering watching him preach on TV from Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, listening to his deep voice always with a calm manner.
It seems that the past generation of believers is leaving this earth.
