Bush and Embryonic Stem Cells
Jun 21st, 2007 by admin
Although I was against the Iraq war, there is still one reason I am thankful to George Bush and that is his continual stance on life issues. It still confuses me when I see “Pro-Life” Republicans voting against abortion to protect life and yet, when it comes to embryo research, saying they have no problem with it. In the end, political expediency wins the day. And in this instance, I know George Bush is not siding with a ban on embryonic stem cell research for political expediency. So his veto saves lives, at least for now.
