Earlier this month Sam was tagged to list influential books. He did so and in the comments to his entry Hamster tagged me. Being blogless, I’ll take this opportunity on Sam’s blog to answer. (Yes, Hamster, your request constitutes “popular demand”).

1. One book that changed your life:

The Gospel According to Jesus - John MacArthur - This book, along with studying the Bible references in it, helped solidify for me what the Gospel really is

2. One book that you’ve read more than once:

Jonathan Edwards: A New Biography - Iain Murray - A well-written bio on America’s premier theologian/philopher – the best in my view!

3. One book you’d want on a desert island:

a. ESV Classic Thinline Bible – this one just feels good in my hands

b. Works Of Jonathan Edwards Set - 2 Volume Set – Jonathan Edwards - Oh yeah, this is really about 20 or 30 books and includes many of Edwards major writings.
