I feel that it is important that we keep this in mind as we educate our children as well. We are passing down behaviors of homophobia and fear of gays/lesbians to the next generation, and this behavior is also perpetuated in the media by right wing politicians and Christians on the pulpit. We need to come up with a way to integrate this topic along with the Bible and break this cycle of hate rather than avoiding or ignoring it. I SO AGREE with Al!!!
