The Death of Death

I visited my uncle who seemed on the verge of death. He is suffering from all sorts of complications from his diabetes. Tubes spew out from every part of his body. And through it all, I can’t help but think of Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 15, “Death has lost its sting.” It rings through my ears and as a believer, I know my unlce will be with the Lord in His timing. So truly for my uncle, death has lost its sting. But death really is a terrible process with almost inhuman-like results.
